This is a good question. There are not specific rules or a National License for Teachers as of yet. I believe that massage therapy continuing education is an important part of being a licensed massage therapist. I see that particular people are starting standards specifically for teachers. I think this is great. It takes a lot of qualities to be a good massage therapy instructor. The attributes that I think are important to teach include: advanced knowledge in anatomy and physiology, teaching from the heart, experience, and an attitude of caring. Some teachers do not have all these qualities. Again, I am glad that standards and classes are now being offered for instructors. Standards should be set forth and different ways to instruct and learn should be included.

Get In Touch offers quality live course and home study courses. I strive to provide quality Massage Therapy continuing education that assist therapists in career longevity and body sustainability.
